Pioneer Funds – Commodity Alpha A ND EUR Hedged

Pioneer Investments now offers an actively managed commodity fund: Pioneer Funds - Commodity Alpha. The fund management uses the DJ-AIG Commodity Total Return Index as its reference yardstick in commodity selection. Beyond this investment universe, four sources of return enhance the fund's performance potential. Short (sale) positions may be taken up to benefit from falling commodity prices. In addition, the fund may invest in "small commodities" (see back page), which broadens its investment options. Pioneer Funds - Commodity Alpha is characterised by low correlation to other traditional invest-ments. It is therefore particularly well-suited as an add-on portfolio position and offers diversification benefits. Rising demand for commodities, with which supply cannot keep pace, ensures attractive performance opportunities.
